The ‘Diorette’ collection, launched in 2006, is an ode to the flowers and bucolic fantasies of Christian Dior’s garden holiday home in Milly-la-Forêt. The ‘Diorette’ collection is designed by Victoire de Castellane the head of Dior Joaillerie. She aims to introduce into the world of Dior fine every day jewellery of a colourful and playful design and disposition made out of 18k gold and adorned with diamonds, and other gemstones. The lacquer element is the main distinctiveness of the ‘Diorette’ collection, as it blurs the line between jewellery and painting.
